Gianfranco Riti

Gianfranco Riti draws on over forty years of experience in the ceramic industry. After completing his artistic studies, Riti joined the production staff of Ceramica Tacconi, a medium-sized ceramic company that set trends in the 1980s by successfully combining industrial tiles with manual decoration. This experience served as a comprehensive apprenticeship, allowing him to engage in all aspects of production, from semi-finished products to design, under the guidance of renowned ceramic masters.

In 1999, Riti established Terra e Colore, aiming to breathe new life into the sublime art of ceramics by blending craftsmanship with decorative art to create pieces that reflect traditional flair. Terra e Colore also seeks to reignite interest in this ancient craft among younger generations by offering targeted courses that connect the past with the future.

Today, Riti's ceramic creations include furnishing pottery, decorated plates, chandeliers, table lamps, and kitchen and tableware, along with many other objects for interior and exterior use. Each piece is meticulously made and decorated by hand using fine enamels and color pigments. The decorations draw inspiration from the rich Italian ceramic tradition, featuring vibrant colors and intricate designs. He also offers custom designs for both interior and exterior environments.
