Roberta Pietrini

Founder of the brand Neloo, Roberta Pietrini creates sustainable jewellery and accessories. Always seeking innovation and with a particular focus on the environment, Roberta crafts jewellery by shaping Capim Dourado fibers together with fabrics derived from tailoring scraps, with a design strongly oriented to circularity.

The fiber she uses most in her creations is Capim Dourado. The stems looks like golden threads, but they are plant-based, and skilled craftsmanship allows for the creation of very light, shiny, and above all, ecological accessories. She initially learned to work with Capim Dourado in Italy and then perfected her techniques during a trip to Brazil, working alongside local artisans.

Passionate about technology and with a long background in tailoring: two seemingly distant worlds that come together perfectly here - Neloo was born in 2018 from Roberta's decision to dedicate herself to creating plant-based jewellery and accessories after years of experience in making custom clothing: from creating the pattern to the finished garment, a field in which she worked for fifteen years before starting her first entrepreneurial venture. Her study and curiosity led her to seek out innovative materials and techniques.

This is where she found the perfect synthesis between tradition and experimentation.
